Raising Attainment with Wellbeing Impact Report 2024

This report highlights outcomes from 53 schools that have so far earned a National Gold Wellbeing Award, supported and verified by a team of Wellbeing Coaches who have worked with the school communities, guiding leadership teams through the Needs Analysis process, leading training and professional development sessions where requested, and validating the progress made.

We are in awe of these school communities, who have chosen to put wellbeing at the heart of learning, teaching and leadership. I hope you are too. #ListenToTheRAW!

RAW for Senior Mental Health Leaders

Microlink and Teaching Times are delighted to announce that the Department for Education has validated our SMHL (Senior Mental Health Leaders) professional development programme using the RAW (Raising Attainment with Wellbeing) platform. Schools can draw down £1200 towards the costs.

Raising Attainment with Wellbeing (RAW)

Microlink, in partnership with Teaching Times, launched an exciting school improvement programme called Raising Attainment with Wellbeing in September 2022. Already, over 400 schools have joined the programme. The Isle of Man and two MATs (Multi-Academy Trusts) are using RAW extensively across their communities of schools.

Deep Leadership

We are also launching our Deep Leadership programme which puts wellbeing at the heart of leadership, especially in challenging and turbulent times.

Emotion Coaching

All too often a lack of self-control leads to children, already in difficulties, to make things worse for themselves.
Be it in the community, within families, in the classroom or in the playground, emotional flare-ups and disproportionately aggressive and volatile behaviours result in situations escalating rapidly out of control.
Emotion Coaching is an attachment-based tool that helps children to self-regulate and manage their own emotions by developing emotional self-awareness and nurturing relationships in teams around them.
If, because of emotion coaching, children become more responsive to help, support and guidance through better emotional self-regulation, the impact will be measurable beyond the programme: in this regard, emotion coaching can be perceived by service leaders as a gateway intervention.
